We are looking for a tenacious, hard working and detail oriented individual with a positive attitude to join our Production Team at our Monroe facility featuring a 50bbl Fully Automated Brewhouse and Cellar.
Rivertown is a family-owned craft brewery and BBQ restaurant founded in 2009. Rivertown is known for the large variety of styles brewed, ranging from lagers to IPA's to imperial stouts to barrel aged beers and wildly fermented sours.
This position will be responsible for working with other members of our Brewing, Packaging and Quality Team to ensure the liquid is of the highest quality and consistency.

In-depth understanding of the brewing process from start thru packaging

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Ability to accurately follow direction and understands the brewing process
Producing high quality wort according to recipes including, but not limited to, consistently hitting target gravity, IBU, SRM, adhering to and upholding QC standards and volume
Preparing ingredients for brew day
Operating all aspects of the brew house with focus on detail
Operating all cellaring and separation duties
General cleaning and sanitization
Work closely with QA/QC in monitoring of batches and fermentation of individual tanks of beer, record batch performance and raw material quality & performance
Jumping in to assist the Packaging Team as needed
Assisting with General Maintenance and machinery upkeep
Any other duties as determined by the needs of production
Necessary Qualifications :
3+ years professional production brewing experience
High School Diploma
Clean driver's license & reliable transportation
Forklift training as well as industrial lifts
Valued Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited School of Brewing
4 year degree in Chemistry, Microbiology and/or Fermentation Science
Worked on a Brewing system at least 40 bbls or larger
Worked with Automation and has a good grasp of HMI interfaces as well as pneumatics
FSMA and GOP training

This Full-Time Brewer position will require 40+ hours weekly (overtime eligible) and interested individuals must be able and willing to work a variable shift schedule that is dependent upon the operational needs of the brewery which may require 12 hour days, 2nd shifts, weekends, and holidays. We are seeking individuals that have worked in production brewing previously, if the only experience listed is Homebrewing please do not apply as we will not consider the application.
